INDUS Supports Children with Down syndrome

Lead by INDUS’s Melissa Anderson, INDUS employees support children with Down syndrome by raising money and participating in the 2013 National Buddy Walk. The Buddy Walk was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. One in 691 children in the US are born with Down syndrome and about 400,000Americans have the syndrome.

Melissa organized a fundraiser at INDUS, collected money and participated in the Buddy Walk with her grandson Brody.  For the past 3 years INDUS employees have been overwhelmingly supportive of this excellent cause. We are indeed very proud of Melissa for leading the efforts and INDUS employees for supporting this important cause.
