Press Release: INDUS Employees Recognized By Federal Executive Board


VIENNA, Virginia, (May 20, 2009) — INDUS Corporation, a leading Federal Information Technology (IT) solutions provider, announced today that five of its employees were part of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) ″Legacy System Retirement Team″ that received the Gold Award from the Baltimore Federal Executive Board (FEB). The team was commended for its ″distinguished manner of partnering and working towards a common goal . . . they are deserving of this prestigious award for Outstanding Administrative Work Group/ Team.″

The Baltimore FEB is made up of senior federal career executives in the mid-Atlantic region comprised of more than 73,000 civilian, military and postal workers. The Gold award is the highest recognition given by the FEB.

The Legacy System Retirement Team was established to (1) archive and remove mainframe systems that were replaced by NASA's Integrated Enterprise Management Core Financial System, and (2) ensure that historical data would be available to support organizational, audit, and policy requirements on an on-going basis.
